Graphic Designer

PART - TIME

Tonnessen Studio is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer who will be responsible for the conceptualization, design and execution of creative materials such as social media assets, printed materials, web design, e-mail newsletters, and brand identity. The Graphic Designer must be able to effectively coordinate projects with the Creative Director and Account Associates to ensure client objectives and internal goals are successfully achieved. A Graphic Designer that brings original ideas and the ability to think and plan strategically with thrive in our creative, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in working with a variety of design programs, such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, as well as knowledge in file preparation for print and digital media.

  • Experienced in artistically capturing iPhone video and photo content.

  • Proficient in creating social media and digital marketing videos in Final Cut.

  • Proficient in custom web design.

  • Collaborating with the Creative Director and Studio Associates to create marketing deliverables following digital best-
    practices.

  • Support with special projects and presentations across the Studio.

Requirements:​

​​

  • NY or CT based - this role is a hybrid of remote and in person (CT).

  • A minimum of two years of experience working as a graphic designer, preferably in an advertising or marketing agency.

  • A discerning eye and strong aesthetic sensibility.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • An impeccable attention to detail.

  • Highly organized and able to deliver projects to meet and deadline.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong skills in layout design, logo design, production design and visual design.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A portfolio showcasing your design work is required for consideration.

  • Passion for and knowledge of lifestyle, interior, and luxury brands, a plus.
