About our Founder
Meet Christie Kuehner Tonnessen, the founder and creative director of Tonnessen Studio. Before launching the Studio, Christie was the Brand Director at Schumacher where she oversaw both content creation and brand marketing. Prior to this, Christie worked at Ralph Lauren and Sotheby’s International Realty focusing on global marketing, digital marketing, content creation, and social media.

In 2023, Christie pivoted from marketing roles at large, Fortune 500 companies in turn for supporting smaller businesses when she founded Tonnessen Studio. It was important to Christie to work with brands on a more intimate level to develop close, trusting relationships with the designers and founders.

PC at Home
In this multi-episode video series for interior designer Paloma Contreras focusing on her personal home’s renovation, our team brought Paloma’s 200+K followers behind the scenes to show the project come to life. Our Studio conceptualized and created the content strategy and storyboard, developed episodes with brand partners, provided art direction, enlisted a local videographer to capture the digital-first content, and produced the series with best practices for IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube in mind.
